Dr. Sangeeta Varty

Dr. Sangeeta Varty, ENT and Cochlear Implant Surgeon, is founder of Shankh Cochlear implant Clinic. She is a consultant ENT Surgeon at P.D. Hinduja Hospital, Mahim. She has a special interest and expertise in Cochlear Implant surgery.

Dr. Sangeeta Varty is a visiting Faculty at Ali Yavar Jung National Institute for Speech and Hearing Disability (Divyangjan). She is the Clinical Expert in National Screening Committee of ADIP which government Initiative to rehabilitate hearing handicapped persons. She has an in depth clinical experience of more than 30 years in the field. Dr. Sangeeta Varty has been trained in Cochlear implant surgery andmentored by Padmashri Dr. Milind Kirtane.

Dr. Sangeeta Varty has received extensive training in Cochlean Implant surgery at centre of excellence in Mumbai, Australia and France.

Fatema Jagmaag

Fatema Jagmaag, Audiologist & Speech / Language Pathologist is a gold medalist. She is the Founder of SHABA Speech And Hearing Centre - A one stop solution for the audiological and speech evaluations and therapy. She is the Co-founder and Trustee of VConnect Foundation, a parent support group for children with hearing loss.

Fatema is attached to Saifee Hospital & Masina Hospital as a senior consulting audiologist. She is also attached to E.A.R. as a consulting audiologist. Practicing in the field of cochlear implantation since 2000. She has the expertise in mapping all cochlear implants - Cochlear, Advanced bionics, Medel and Neurelec. She has mapped more than 1000 children / adults successfully. Fatema started the remote mapping programme in Kenya.

Vahishtai J Daboo

Vahishtai J Daboo, Listening and Spoken Language Specialist, Certified Auditory Verbal Therapist, USA, and a Certified Mental Health Practitioner. She is the founder & Principal Consultant, INTEGRATED, Services for Listening & Spoken Language. She works children and adults, both face to face and virtually teaching them to 'Listen & Speak' with Cochlear implants.

Vahishtai is the Co-founder & Managing Trustee, VConnect Foundation, a parent support group for children with hearing loss. She is also a Trustee, Umang School for Children with hearing loss, Ahmedabad. She is a Guest Faculty AYJNISHD(D)- Post Graduate Diploma Auditory Verbal Therapy and is the co-founder and Trainer at Online AVT.

Vahishtai serves on the board of the Alexander Graham Bell Academy, USA, as a committee member on the Listening and Spoken Language Certification Committee. She is an Executive Committee Member, Cochlear Group of India (CIGI).
